CAIRO, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- Egyptian Trade and Industry Minister Amr Nassar said Saturday that Chinese companies plan to pump new investments in the country's leather sector, official MENA news agency reported.
During an inspection tour in Robiki Leather City, located in Badr City, east of Cairo, Nassar reiterated that investment ties between Egypt and China witness noticeable development during the current phase, said the report.
The minister also mentioned an announcement by the Chinese Mankai firm about establishing the biggest textile city in Egypt while addressing representatives of Chinese companies, said the report.
