BEIJING, Dec. 27 (Xinhua) -- Ant Financial, the financial service affiliated to China's e-commerce giant Alibaba signed a strategic partnership agreement with Caitong Securities (601108.SH) based in East China's Zhejiang province on Wednesday, reported the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News.
Ant Financial is expected to help Caitong Securities with Internet operation and financial technology development in a bid to accelerate the partner’s wealth management transformation, help it build online retail business scenario and ecosystem, as well as use such smart technology as artificial intelligence, big data in sales and marketing, investment consulting, risk control, and outlet construction, according to the agreement.
Caitong Securities is expected to provide comprehensive financial services for Ant Financial, such as research support, financial products, and investment consulting, to facilitate the Internet company’s financial technology application and innovation, according to the agreement.
