BEIJING, Dec. 13 (Xinhua) -- The Chinese authorities are formulating regional development plans to promote integrated development and infrastructure connectivity within key economic development zones.
China's top economic planner, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the Ministry of Transport are leading the compilation of an outline for integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, planning for transport integration in the Yangtze River Delta, and a special planning for infrastructure interconnection in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Meanwhile, the local authorities such as Hebei, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Guangdong are also preparing for a series of plans and policies to implement the national outlines and policies.
In addition, some transportation projects for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Xiongan New Area and the Yangtze River economic belt are now under construction.
According to the Economic Information Daily, the investment fund for integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta and the equity investment fund for industry innovation of the Yangtze River Delta are under way to promote the regional infrastructure development and optimization and reorganization of the industry resources and innovation resources.
