BEIJING, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- A large aircraft studio was co-launched by Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, Ltd. (COMAC) and Alibaba Group on Tuesday, aiming to promote the deep integration of intelligent manufacturing technology and commercial aircraft manufacturing.
The studio will focus on data-driven manufacturing and strive to increase production capacity of commercial aircraft manufacturing, and achieve goals of optimized process design, intelligent scheduling, precise logistics and distribution, and transparent management decision-making through the data.
Alibaba and COMAC will continuously promote the integration of Internet and commercial aircraft to help the development of the large aircraft industry, said Wang Jian, chairman of the Alibaba Group Technical Committee.(Edited by Bao Nuomin, baonuomin@xinhua.org)
