Investment Costs in Jiangxi Province

Abstract : The benchmark price of the industrial land in Jiangxi is about 30 percent lower than that of the Pearl River Delta and over 20 percent lower than that of the Yangtze River Delta.

Human resources: Jiangxi has a labor population of 15 million, growing by 600,000 annually. There are over 8.75 million employees and average labor cost is 1/3 of that of Shanghai and 1/2 of that of Zhejiang and Guangdong.

Industrial land: the benchmark price of the industrial land in Jiangxi is about 30 percent lower than that of the Pearl River Delta and over 20 percent lower than that of the Yangtze River Delta.

Water, electricity and gas costs: the water supply in Jiangxi features low cost, the price for non-resident water consumption costs 22 percent lower than that of Pearl River Delta and 44 percent lower than that of Yangtze River Delta. The electricity supply in Jiangxi features stable price, the price for industrial electricity supply costs 25 percent to 60 percent lower than that of Pearl River Delta, 3 percent to 13 percent lower than that of Yangtze River Delta. The natural gas is priced at 3.1 yuan per cubic meters in Nanchang.
