BEIJING, Sept. 28 (Xinhua) -- 2018 The 6th China Luzhou Southwest Commodity Expo kicked off on Friday in Luzhou City, southwest China's Sichuan Province. During the expo, Kuang Lecheng, vice president of China Economic Information Service (CEIS), released the Business Environment Report of Luzhou City, Sichuan Province, China (2018).
The report has given a full display of the innovation achievements made by Luzhou on reforming business environment in a bid to facilitate investors’ investment, demonstrating that Luzhou is taking a more open approach to the outside world.
Kuang noted that the South Sichuan Port Area (SSPA) of China (Sichuan) Pilot Free Trade Zone (FTZ) has made a remarkable progress in improving business efficiency and enhancing innovation, which has even surpassed that in China’s eastern coastal regions. Luzhou is now taking advantage of the opportunities provided by the Belt and Road Initiative and the Yangtze River Economic Belt Development to optimize business environment and upgrading city management.

According to Kuang, the report consists of five parts, including overview of Luzhou, business environment, credit system construction, advantages on credit system construction and investment advices.
The report pointed out that Luzhou is now making great efforts to streamline government administration, delegate more powers to and improve regulation and services to create a fair business environment. In the meanwhile, as a model city in social credit system construction, Luzhou is actively formulating a new type of supervision system with credit as the core .
The report is jointly completed by professionals in the departments of Xinhua Silk Road and Xinhua Credit of CEIS.
