China's State Information Center publishes B&R big data report 2018

Abstract : China's State Information Center (SIC) on September 19 published the Belt and Road (B&R) big data report 2018 on Summer Davos Forum held in China's Tianjin, yidaiyilu.gov.cn reported on Wednesday.

BEIJING, Sept. 20 (Xinhua) – China's State Information Center (SIC) on September 19 published the Belt and Road (B&R) big data report 2018 on Summer Davos Forum held in China's Tianjin, yidaiyilu.gov.cn reported on Wednesday.

The index of China's cooperation level with B&R countries stood at 47.12 for 2018 in the SIC report, 2.01 percentage points higer from 2017 and 3.57 from 2016. Specifically, Russia, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, the Republic of Korea and Vietnam rank the top five, among which Russia had been raking first for three consecutive years.

Meanwhile, China's trade volume with Belt and Road countries rose 13.4 percent on year in 2017, 5.9 percentage points higher than the growth rate of China’s total foreign trade during the period.

The report also analyzed the participation level of China's provinces and cities in the Belt and Road construction, for which south China's Guangdong province becomes the most active participant in 2018 followed by east China's Shandong province.

Furthermore, the report indicates that Singapore, New Zealand, The Republic of Korea, United Arab Emirates and Russia took the top five positions for investment environment consideration. (Edited by Jiang Feifan, Niu Huizhe)
