BEIJING, June 20 (Xinhua) -- Beijing planned a total of 276 key projects for this year with total investment of nearly 1.3 trillion yuan, the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News reported on June 20.
According to the report, Beijing planed to start the construction of 114 new projects and continue to build 162, while the city strove to complete 43 projects this year.
This year, the city’s major projects mainly focus on four areas, including coordinated development of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei, public service improvement and people’s livelihood guarantee, the improvement of urban governance level as well as construction of economic structure based on high-end, precision and sophisticated industries, an official with the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development said.
