BEIJING, June 8 (Xinhua) -- East China’s Anhui province plans to expand its artificial intelligence (AI) market size to 150 billion yuan by 2030, according its development plan for a new generation of AI industry released on Thursday.
According to the plan, Anhui province will develop its Hefei intelligent voice and AI industrial base as the core district for AI development while developing an intelligent industrial robot and special robot industrial cluster based upon Wuhu and Ma Anshan strategic emerging industry development bases, according to report by Shanghai Securities News.
Anhui will also expand AI application, exploiting existing advantages of Suzhou, Huainan and Bengbu in areas such as cloud computing and big data. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
