NANNING, May 31 (Xinhua) -- A 403-meter-high tower cerebrates its topping out and staff’s group wedding ceremony on Wednesday in Nanning, the capital city of south China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
Twelve couples from the tower’s builders, Guangxi Branch of China Construction Eighth Engineering Division Corp. Ltd.(CCEED), hold their wedding at the platform on top of the building, with a project name of East Tower of Nanning City Crossing Office Building.
Gao Bo, one of the bridegrooms and also an engineer in charge of the project coordination, said he was so exciting and honored to hold their wedding at the top of the building he has worked so hard on it at the moment of its topping out. “To combine my love with my career, it is really fantastic,” he said, seizing tight with his bride’s hands.

The tower is an asset of China Resources Holdings (CRH). It was started construction in September 2015 and designed to have total building area of 287,000 square meters.
Upon completion, it will become the highest building in Guangxi, according to Tang Jiyu, CCEED Guangxi Branch’s deputy chief engineer and project manager of the tower, saying that the company is glad to have the opportunity to cerebrate the topping out with constructors’ wedding. He wishes his staff’s love and marriage will be as solid and long-lasting as the tower.

Wang Huaping, deputy general manager of CCEED Guangxi Branch, said at the ceremony that his company would put top priority on the project’s quality and security and devote to provide the city a brilliant landscape. “We will do all out to let the city proud of the tower, and make the tower one of the symbolic building of Nanning as an international metropolis and important city along the Silkroad Economic Belt and 21st Maritime Silkroad (Belt and Road).
